We went to the oncologist this morning with the colonoscopy report. He says the next step is to remove the appendix. So, we went upstairs to the surgeon that did the hernia repair, and got that scheduled. It will happen on Monday 11/2.

The wirlwind continues

Monday, October 26th, 2009Let me start by apologizing for not keeping this up to date.
With that said, here’s the latest:
The 9/30 appointment with the oncologist was canceled because I had not gotten all the stuff he wanted done. He wanted a colonoscopy and I couldn’t get an appointment with the guy I wanted until last week. So, I went Wednesday and had a colonoscopy and an upper GI this morning. He said he didn’t see any signs of cancer in anything he looked at.
The next step is to talk to the oncologist, and I have an appointment for this Wednesday. We’ll Know more then.
The main suspect at this point seems to be the appendix.
